Operation Instructions
Initial Setup
1. Record Information: Note model/serial numbers (under lid), purchase date, dealer details.
2. Power On: Plug into grounded 3-prong outlet; ensure faucets are on.

- Check hot water temperature (120°F/49°C min); use thermometer if needed.
- For hard water (>7 grains/gallon), consider softener or extra detergent.

Operating the Washing Machine
1. Sort Laundry: By soil, lint, color, fabric; see Laundry Tips.
2. Add Detergent: Measure and add to washer before clothes; optional color-safe bleach.
3. Add Bleach: Up to 1 cup liquid chlorine to dispenser (dilutes automatically).
4. Load Clothes: Loosely to top half of basket.
5. Select Settings: Water level, temperature, cycle; close lid.
6. Start Cycle: Pull out Cycle Control Knob; add softener during final rinse if needed.
7. End Cycle: Remove promptly; clean lint filter after each load.
Cycle Selection
Select based on fabric and soil:
- Normal: Cottons/linens; 10 min, standard agitation/spin.
- Permanent Press: Synthetics; 9 min, cool-down rinse, low spin.
- Delicates: Delicates/knits; 6 min, gentle agitation/low spin.
- Rinse and Spin: Extra rinse/high spin for soiled/special items.
Note: Washer fills to selected water level; pauses in some cycles.
Laundry Tips
- Sorting: Separate by soil, lint type, color, fabric; pretreat stains.
- Loading: Loosely to 1/2 basket; mix sizes; avoid overload.
- Water Temperature: Hot for heavy soils (120°F+), warm for most, cold for energy savings/light soils.
- Detergent: Measure per load; use more for hard water.
- Bleach: Chlorine for whites (dispenser); color-safe alternative.
- Fabric Softener: Dilute and add during rinse; avoid mixing.
- Energy Saving: Full loads, cold rinses, off-peak use.
- Special Items: Use mesh bags for delicates; extra rinse for blankets; avoid washing feather pillows.
Troubleshooting
- Washer Won't Run: Check power cord, fuse/breaker, lid closed, knob pulled out.
- No Water: Faucets on? Hoses kinked/clogged? Drain hose height.
- Excessive Vibration/Noise: Redistribute load; level machine; normal pauses.
- Doesn't Drain: Check drain hose height/clogs.

Installation Instructions
Warning: To reduce risk of fire, electric shock, or injury: Have qualified person install; level on supportive floor; ground properly; connect to correct water/drain; protect from weather/freezing; unplug before servicing; do not tamper with controls.
Remove Old Washing Machine
- Shut off water faucets and unplug power cord.
- Disconnect inlet and drain hoses.
- Remove shipping materials if present.
- Clean installation area; remove lid to prevent child entrapment if discarding.
Installing New Washing Machine
- Unpack and remove shipping materials.
- Place in location with clearance for hoses/lid.
- Connect inlet hoses to hot/cold faucets (ensure screens/washers in place).
- Attach drain hose to standpipe (higher than water level, max 96").
- Level the machine.
- Plug into grounded outlet; turn on water and check for leaks.
Leveling the Machine
- Place level on top of machine.
- Adjust front and rear feet for even contact with floor.
- Tighten locknuts against base.
- Recheck after first loads.
